John McCain’s Version of Lipstick on a Pig
The republicans have officially lost their ever-loving minds. They are making a HUGE stink about Barack Obama using the phrase “putting lipstick on a pig”…a common phrase in the midwest. John McCain’s camp has put their typical bassackwards spin on it and made it about Sarah Palin…simply because she’s used the word “lipstick” too in the last month. COME ON! If anyone in their RIGHT mind listens to his speech, it is clear that Barack Obama is referring to John McCain’s policies being the same as Bushy’s….you can dress them up but it’s still the same ol’ crap.
Here’s the best part. Though John McCain is doing his very best to spin this comment to his favor, HE’S USED THE PHRASE HIMSELF! How in the world can he and his camp of fuddy duddies begin to claim that it means anything when he’s used the EXACT same phrase??? And, for the record John McCain has used the phrase multiple times! Don’t believe me? See the video below….
What more can John McCain and Sarah Palin do to show the American public that they are NOT the right people for the white house? Are the lies not good enough? The nasty campaigning? The ridiculous spins? The factual records of both of their pasts? What is it going to take? Wake up America!
